Slip-on flange

Slip-on flanges are a popular type of pipe flanges. It is essentially a ring that is placed over the pipe end, with the flange face extending from the end of the pipe by enough distance to apply a weld bead on the inside diameter. You do not have to specify the pipe schedule when using slip-on flanges due to the fact that its inside diameter is determined by the outside diameter of the pipe.
