Styrene-butadiene styrene is a synthetic rubber commonly referred to as SBS. This rubber is classified as a block copolymer. The structure of SBS takes into account both hard plastic and elastic properties. SBS is also very compatible with asphalt, making it an ideal asphalt modifier for flexibility and elasticity in cold weather. Synthetic rubber is widely used in modified asphalt roofing, latex, sealant, paint and road paving. The CH1302-1HE grade is composed of 30% styrene and 70% butadiene, with a white color and granular structure. No oil content. As one of Changhong's best-selling SBS, it is used for asphalt paving, waterproof membranes, adhesives and shoe soles.
